December 10, 1903.  It won an Emmy
for Children's Programming.

O Brother, Where Art Thou? (2000) is
about the adventures of three escaped
convicts who become a singing sensation
in 1930s Mississippi.  It is a comic adaptation
of Homer's Odyssey.  This very good movie stars
George Clooney, born May 6, 1961.  Mississippi
was admitted to the Union December 10, 1817.
