Movies for the Day, Sunday, April 5, 2020

Today's movies mark the birthdays of Walter Huston, Gregory Peck, and Spencer Tracy.

Which of today's movies would you watch?

The Treasure of the Sierra Madre (1948) is a western
adventure about the search for gold in Mexico's mountains.
This thrilling movie exposes greed and human nature at its
worst.  It is on the National Film Registry and won Oscars
for Best Director, to John Huston, Adapted Screenplay, and
Best Supporting Actor, to Walter Huston, born April 5,
1883.  It features an American Film Institute quote, "Badges?  We ain't got no badges! We don't need no badges! I don't have to show you
any stinking badges!"  An excellent movie.
