transcontinental railroad.  The Golden
Spike was driven May 10, 1869.  The railroad
was completed August 15, 1870.

romantic comedy and musical starring
Audrey Hepburn and Fred Astaire.
She is a model.  Fred Astaire
was born May 10, 1899.  A very good
movie.

The Train (1964) is an excellent
World War II movie and thriller about
the French Resistance.  The Battle of
France began May 10, 1940 (to June 25,
1940).
