on a play and became a TV series. May 17
is Norway's National Day.

and especially school integration. The United
States Supreme Court school integration
decision, Brown v Board of Education, was
decided May 17, 1954.

Insomnia (1997) is a psychological
thriller about a police investigation of a
murder in Norway. This movie was remade
in 2002, but set in Alaska. Norway's
Independence Day is May 17, 1814. Both
are good movies.
