Today's movies mark an anniversary for a World War II plane, the birthday of James Mason, and International Day of Families.

Which of today's movies would you watch?








The Memphis Belle:  A Story of a Flying
Fortress (1944) is a documentary about the
B-17's bombing raid over Germany.  This movie,
directed by William Wyler, is on the National
Film Registry.  The famous plane's last mission
was May 15, 1943.  A fictionalized version was
made in 1990- Memphis Belle.

The Reckless Moment (1949) combines
family, murder, blackmail, and suspense in an a very
good film noir movie.  It stars
James Mason, born May 15, 1909.

Yours, Mine and Ours (1968) is a comedy
about a widower with 10 children and a widow
with 8 children combining families.  This is a
warm wholesome movie.  May 15, 2019, is
International Day of Families.  May is also
National Family Month.
