1925.  A TV movie.

a hard-nosed detective in New York City and the cast
of characters in his life, including an
abortionist.  It is based on a Broadway play
by Sidney Kingsley.  Last week was Police
Week (May 12-18, 2019).

Chinese woman who emigrates to
the United States after World War II.
May is Asian American and Pacific Islander
