The Battle of Midway (1942) is an 18-minute
documentary of the Battle of Midway, a decisive
battle in the Pacific theatre during World War II.
It won an Oscar for Best Documentary.  The
Battle of Midway occurred June 4, 1942, to June 6, 1942.

Auntie Mame (1958) is about a free-
spirited woman.  It is an excellent musical
comedy from a Broadway play later
musicalized as Mame.  It features an
American Film Institute Great Quote, "Life is a banquet,
and most poor suckers are starving to
death!"  The movie won Golden Globes for
Best Comedy Picture and Best Actress,
Musical of Comedy, to Rosalind Russell, born
June 4, 1907.

Coogan's Bluff (1968) is about an Arizona
lawman sent to New York City to pursue a
fugitive; it is a bit of a fish out of water theme.
It is the basis of a later TV series, McCloud, starring
Dennis Weaver, born June 4, 1924.
