Movies for the Day, Saturday, August 24, 2019

Today's movies mark a nuclear war anniversary and the birthdays of Peter Hutton and a surfer.

Which of today's movies would you watch?

Threads (1984) is about the effect
of a nuclear war on a British town and
especially two families.  August is the
month that atomic bombs were dropped on
Hiroshima and Nagasaki (August 6 and
9, 1945, respectively) and August 29 is
International Day Against Nuclear Tests.
