Today's movies mark Japan Culture Day and the Birthdays of Charles Bronson and Roseanne Barr.

about the leader of an acting troupe on a small
island who visits his illegitimate son and the boy's
mother from an affair from years before.  November
3 is Culture Day in Japan.  A very good movie.

thriller about an assassin.  It stars
Charles Bronson, born November 3,
1921.

Roseanne (1988-1997) was a very popular
sitcom starring Roseanne Barr, born
November 3, 1952.  It lasted nine seasons
and 222 episodes.  It won Emmys for
Supporting Actress, to Laurie Metcalf, in
1992 and 1994.
