The Magnificent Seven (1960) is an iconic
western starring Yul Brynner, born
July 11, 1920.  This thrilling movie is
based on Akira Kurosawa's Seven Samurai
(1954).  It is on the National Film Registry
and features an American Film Institute
Score by Elmer Bernstein.  Kurosawa was
born March 23, 1910.



The Magnificent Seven












Stuart Little (1999) is about a mouse and
his interactions with cats and humans.  It is
based on the classic book by E.B. White, born
July 11, 1899.  This is excellent family fare.
