Today's movies mark a World War II victory, Music in Our Schools Month, and an Iron Man anniversary.

Desert Victory (1943) is a documentary about
the Allied victory over Axis forces in North Africa
during World War II.  It was released in March 1943,
shortly after a major victory.  It won an Oscar for
Best Documentary Feature.

a teacher at an East Harlem violin
class.  March is Music in Our Schools
Month.

Iron Man (2008) is a superhero action
movie.  Iron Man first appeared in
Tales of Suspense #39 in March 1963.
Iron Man was followed by Iron Man 2
(2010) and Iron Man 3 (2013).  Iron Man
won Oscars for Sound Editing and Visual
Effects.  Iron Man 2 won an Oscar for Visual Effects,
as did Iron Man 3.
