a live action/animation comedy set in the
1940s about a detective trailing a murderer.
This very good movie won Oscars for Film Editing,
Sound Effects Editing, and Visual Effects.
It received a Special Achievement Award for
animation direction and creation of the cartoon
characters, created by Richard Williams, born
March 19, 1933.



Who Framed Roger Rabbit









Die Hard (1988) is about a New York City
policeman fighting terrorists in a Los Angeles
highrise at Christmastime.  This thrilling action
movie features an American Film Institute Great
Villain, Hans Gruber.  Sequels include Die Hard 2
(1990) and Die Hard With a Vengeance (1995).
