v Wainwright, 372 US 335). This TV movie was based
on a book by journalist Anthony Lewis, born March
27, 1967. Clarence Earl Gideon, born August 30,
1910, was represented by future Supreme Court
Justice Abe Fortas.

women in a New England town who conjure up the
perfect man/devil. This movie combines
comedy, fantasy and horror and is inspired by
a novel by John Updike, who was born March 18,
1932.
