Today's movies mark June weddings and the birthdays of Clarence Thomas and Alan Turing.







The Bride Wore Black (1968) is a well-
regarded movie about a bride who seeks
vengeance.  June is a traditional month for
marriage.

Strange Justice (1999) is a historical
drama about the controversial hearings
to confirm the nomination of Clarence
Thomas to the United States Supreme
Court, especially the allegations of sexual
harassment.  Thomas was born June 23,
1948.

The Imitation Game (2014) is a dramatic
biography of Alan Turing, a genius who
decrypted German intelligence codes for the
British government in World War II.  Turing was
born June 23, 1912.  The movie won an Oscar for
Adapted Screenplay and was nominated as
Best Motion Picture.
