comedy of manners won an Oscar for Interior

about a dance of indigenous people in Bali
pitting good vs. evil.  This short
documentary by famed ethnologist Margaret
Mead is set in 1936 to 1939.  It is on the
National Film Registry.  Mead was born
December 16, 1901.

Immortal Beloved (1994) is a dramatization
of the life of the great classical composer,
Ludwig van Beethoven, born December 16,
1770.
