of Dr. Samuel Mudd who was imprisoned in an
island prison after treating the assassin of President
Lincoln. Mudd was born December 20,
1833. A very good movie.

(1987) is a TV special starring Andrews
and others. It won Emmys for
Technical Direction, Music Direction,
Lighting Direction, Editing, and Music and
Lyrics for the song, The Sound of
Christmas. A very worthwhile special.

about United States involvement in Panama for
over a century, a prelude to the United States
invasion of Panama beginning December 20,
1989; the military operation ended January 31,
1990. This movie won an Oscar for Best
