an urbanized family descended from the
Maori in New Zealand with an abusive
husband. Today, February 6 (1840) is
New Zealand's National Day, Waitangi
Day. A very good movie.

Boston pals, one a cop, and friendship,
murder, neighborhood ties, and a criminal
code of honor. Massachusetts ratified the
Constitution on February 6, 1788. This movie won
Oscars for Best Actor, to Sean Penn, and
Best Supporting Actor, to Tim Robbins.
