is a very good W.C. Fields comedy.  Fields
was born January 29, 1880.

Three Sisters (1970) is about three unhappy
sisters, daughters of a deceased Russian
colonel, living in the Russian provinces circa
1900.  This excellent movie is based on an Anton
Chekhov play.  Chekhov was born January 29,
1860.

Ratatouille (2007) is a very good
animated comedy about a rat who wants
to become a chef.  The Bocuse D'Or biennial
world chef contest, held since 1987,
is normally held on two days near the end of
January in France- in 2019 on January 29 and
30.  This movie won an Oscar as Best Animated
Feature Film.  The contest is named for chef
Paul Bocuse, born February 11, 1926.  World Rat
Day is April 4, 2016.
