romance on a rubber plantation in
Indochina.  This very good movie, which
is on the National Film Registry, stars Clark
Gable, born February 1, 1901.

Swiss Family Robinson (1960) is a Disney
version of the classic Johann Wyss book about
a family shipwrecked on a remote island in the
Napoleanic era.  This is a very good movie with
pirates.  February 1 (1709) is Robinson Crusoe

How the West Was Won (1962) is a family
saga of the old West.  This very good movie comes
from acclaimed director John Ford, born February 1,
1895.  It is on the National Film Registry.  It won
Oscars for Writing, Sound and Film Editing.  It has
a great musical Score.
