The Sonny and Cher Comedy Hour (August 1, 1971,
to May 29, 1974) was a popular TV variety hour
starring the singing duo.  Sonny Bono was born February
16, 1935, and Cher was born May 20, 1946.  It was on
4 seasons and 63 episodes.  It won an Emmy for Directing
