of the Broadway show starring comedienne
Gilda Radner, including her characters
from TV's Saturday Night Live. Radner was
born this date, June 28, in 1946.

bar riot which sparked the gay rights
movement. June is also Gay Pride
month.

The Tudors (April 1, 2007 to June 20, 2010)
is a Showtime series about King
Henry VIII, especially his early years. His
coronation was June 24, 1509 (we have already
listed Henry VIII and His Six Wives for that
date) but was born this date, June 28, in 1491. This
historical drama lasted four seasons.
It won Emmys for Costumes, Cinematography, and
Art Direction.
