Yugoslavia, pot, and adventure are the themes for today's movies.





The Secret Invasion (1964) is a World
War II yarn which takes place mostly
in Yugoslavia, which came into existence
in 1918, was internationally recognized at
the Conference of Ambassadors on July 13,
1922, in Paris, and was renamed the
Kingdom of Yugoslavia in 1929, and which is
not a country any more.

starring Cheech & Chong, two
dummies in search of good pot.

Raiders of the Lost Ark (1981) is a thrilling,
action-packed adventure movie, giving us one
the great movie heroes, Indiana Jones, who is
listed on the American Film Institute Heroes list.
Harrison Ford is Indiana Jones- Ford was born this
date, July 13, in 1942.  The movie won Oscars for
Art/Set Decoration, Sound, Film Editing, Visual
Effects, and Sound Effects.  The movie is on the
National Film Registry.
