the great documentary of the 1936 Berlin Olympic Games,
which opened August 1, 1936.  This German propaganda
film was directed and written by Leni Riefenstahl.

The Straight Story (1999) is the story
of a man in his 70s who rides a lawnmower
across America to visit his ailing
brother.  August is American
Adventures Month.

in August 1962.  This movie has had
