a Welsh coal mining family saga.  It is on
the National Film Registry.  It won
Oscars for Best Picture, Supporting Actor
Donald Crisp, born July 27, 1882, Director,
Cinematography, and Interior Decoration.

M*A*S*H (1972 to 1983) is a classic television
sitcom about a medical unit in the Korean
War, which ended with the Korean Armistice on July 27,
1953.  The show won many awards including Emmys
for Outstanding Comedy Series (in 1974), Supporting
Actor Gary Burghoff (in 1977), Supporting
Actor Harry Morgan (in 1980), Supporting Actress
Loretta Swit (in 1980 and 1982), and Outstanding Lead
Actor Alan Alda (in 1982).
