Today's movies mark jazz month, National Siblings Day, and Arbor Day.







Jazz on a Summer's Day (1959) features the
1958 Newport Jazz Festival.  April is
Jazz and Blues Appreciation Month.  This
documentary is on the National Film
Registry.

Pauline & Paulette (2001) is the story
of a mentally handicapped woman in
her sixties and her care by her sisters.
Today is National Siblings Day.

Over the Garden Wall (2014) is an animated
television miniseries about brothers who have
to travel home through a very strange forest.  This
series won Emmys for Outstanding Animated
Program and Outstanding Individual Achievment
in Animation.  It aired November 3 to 7, 2014.  Today
is the anniversary of the first Arbor Day, April
10, 1872.
