Today's movies mark the founding of the United States Marines, the birthday of Martin Luther, and the premiere of Sesame Street.

Pride of the Marines (1945) is about a Marine
blinded in battle in World War II who must
rebuild his life Stateside.   The United States
Marines was founded November 10, 1775.
Plus, tomorrow is Veterans Day.

Luther (1973) is a biography of the German
monk who began the Reformation.  It is based on
a play by John Osborne.  Martin Luther
was born November 10, 1483.

Sesame Street Presents Follow That Bird
(1985) features Big Bird who runs away and
the other characters follow.  Sesame Street
is for children and is entertaining and educational.
The TV show premiered November 10, 1969.
