Today's movies mark the anniversary of the assassination of President Kennedy, the release of Toy Story, and Thanksgiving.




Zapruder Film (1963) is home movie
footage that caught the assassination
of President John F. Kennedy on
November 22, 1963.  This footage by
Abraham Zapruder is on the National
Film Registry.

Toy Story (1995) is the hugely popular
computer animation of toys come to life,
especially Woody and Buzz Lightyear.
It won an Oscar for Special Achievement
to the Pixar Toy Story team.  It was the first
feature length computer animated film.  It is on the
National Film Registry.  It was released November
22, 1995.  It has had several sequels.

about a wayward daughter who invites her
dying mother and estranged family to
her New York City apartment for
Thanksgiving dinner.  Thanksgiving is
tomorrow.
