Movies for the Day, Friday, November 3, 2017

Today's movies mark the founding of the Chevrolet auto company,  Godzilla's "birthday," and the birthday of actor Charles Bronson.




Master Hands (1936) is a sponsored film
about work in a Chevrolet auto factory.  The
documentary is made up of clips from the
factory.  The Chevrolet auto company was
started November 3, 1911.  The documentary
is on the National Film Registry.

Godzilla, King of the Monsters (1954)
introduces the famous Japanese
monster.  Tokyo is at risk.  This movie
was released November 3, 1954.

Death Wish (1974) stars Charles Bronson
as a New York City architect who turns to
vigilantism to avenge the murder of his wife.
This iconic movie spawned a number of
sequels.  Bronson was born November 3,
1921.
