Shenandoah (1965) is the story of a Virginia
family during the Civil War.  It was later a
Broadway musical.  The Shenandoah National
Park was established December 26, 1935.

Madigan (1968) is a movie about a
New York City police detective.  Richard
Widmark, born December 26, 1914, played
Madigan.  It was later a TV series from
1972 to 1973.

Tropic of Cancer (1970) is based on the
classic by Henry Miller about amorous
adventures in 1920s Paris.  Miller was
born December 26, 1891.
