Today's movies mark advertising, Robin Hood, and the moon landing.

Madison Avenue (1961) is about the power
of advertising and public relations to put
a tycoon in the White House.  The iconic
advertising TV series Mad Men premiered July
19, 2007.  This movie stars Dana Andrews,
born January 1, 1909.

Robin Hood (1973) is a Disney animated
version of the classic tale.  July is the month
of the annual Sherwood Oregon Festival.

From the Earth to the Moon (1998) is a dramatic
telling of the moon landing program.  Men landed
on the moon July 20, 1969.  This is a 12 part
miniseries which aired April 5 to May 10, 1998.
It won Emmys for Outstanding Miniseries,
Casting, and Hairstyling.
