Movies for the Day, Sunday, July 14, 2019

Today's movies mark the birthday of Ingmar Bergman and Bastille Day.

Which of today's movies would you watch?

Through a Glass Darkly (1961) is about a
just released mental patient and her family who
spend a summer together on a secluded island.
This very good movie was directed by Ingmar
Bergman, born July 14, 1918.  It is the first of a trilogy
of movies on faith - followed by Winterlight (1963)
(a priest in a small village) and The Silence (1963) (two sisters).
