an Oscar for short documentaries.  Switzerland's
national day is August 1 (1291), the founding
of the Swiss Confederation.

The Unsinkable Molly Brown (1964) is
a musical comedy based on a true story.  It was
on Broadway.  A backwoods girl becomes the
wealthiest woman in Denver in the late
1800s.  Colorado was admitted to the Union
August 1, 1876.
