Today's movies mark an FBI anniversary, the birthday of Alexandre Dumas fils and an atomic bomb test.

The F.B.I. (September 19, 1965 to April 28,
1974) is an iconic television series based on FBI files.
It lasted nine seasons and 241 episodes.  The
FBI was founded July 26, 1908.  The series
stars Efrem Zimbalist Jr., born November 30, 1918.
Legendary FBI Director J. Edgar Hoover was born
January 1, 1895, and was director from March 23,
1935 to May 2, 1972.

Camille (1984) is about a courtesan
in 19th century Paris, a costume drama.
This TV movie won an Emmy for Dramatic
Underscore.  It is based on the novel by
Alexandre Dumas fils, born July 27, 1824.

Manhattan (July 27, 2014 to December
15, 2015) is a TV series drama about the Manhattan
Project, which led to the atomic bomb.  It aired
for two seasons and 23 episodes.  The Trinity
test in New Mexico on July 16, 1945, was the first
atomic bomb detonation.
