Movies for the Day, Monday, July 22, 2019

Today's movies mark the birthday of Ernest Hemingway, Rat Catcher Day, and the birthday of Albert Brooks.

Which of today's movies would you watch?

The Snows of Kilimanjaro (1952) is about
a writer critically injured while on safari in
Africa; he examines his past.  This movie is
based on a story by Ernest Hemingway, born
July 21, 1899.

A Rat's Tale (1997) is about New York City

used for the rats.  This is a family movie.
July 22 is Rat Catchers Day, based on the
Pied Piper of Hamelin legend.

My First Mister (2001) is about the
relationship between an unhappy teenage
girl (age 17) and a "schlumpy" middle
aged clothing salesman.  This movie
stars Albert Brooks, born July 22, 1947.
This is a very good movie.
