Today's movies mark World Mental Health Day and the premiere of Upstairs, Downstairs.

Repulsion (1965) is a horror thriller
and psychological shocker about the mental
deterioration of a sexually repressed woman.
World Mental Health Day is October 10,
2019.  This is an excellent movie.

the Direction of the Marquis de Sade) (1967) is
an excellent but disturbing movie set in an
insane asylum.  October 10, 2019, is World
Mental Health Day.

Upstairs, Downstairs (1971-1975) is a
Masterpiece Theater series about a British
aristocratic family from about 1900 to
1930.  It premiered October 10, 1971.
It won Emmys for Host, to Alistair Cooke,
Lead Actress, to Rosemary Harris, Supporting
Actor, to Gordon Jackson, and Outstanding Limited
Series.  There are 68 episodes.  See also
