Movies for the Day, Wednesday, January 10, 2018

Today's movies mark an anniversary of the League of Nations, the Wolf Moon, and International Child Centered Divorce Month.

Civilization (1916) is an anti-war morality
tale about a fictitious kingdom in a time of
war.  It has parallels to America and President
Wilson before entry into World War I.  This movie
is on the National Film Registry.  The League
of Nations anniversary is January 10, 1920.  The
League is the predecessor of the United Nations.
