Today's movies mark the beginning of World War II, the birthday of Dante, and back to school.  Which movie would you watch?

To Be or Not to Be (1942) is a black comedy
about a Polish theatre troupe put out of business
by the Nazis which becomes involved in espionage and
use their thespian skills.  This was a great role for
Jack Benny.  This movie is on the National Film Registry.
World War II began with the Nazi invasion of Poland
on September 1, 1939.  This movie was remade in 1983.
