Newark Athlete (1891) is an experimental sound
film by William K. Dickson, born August 3, 1860.
Less than a minute long, it shows an athlete twirling
a baton.  It is on the National Film Registry.  Filmed at
Edison's studio in New Jersey, it may be the only
surviving kinetophone film with live-recorded
sound.

The Story of G.I. Joe (1945) is the
story of famed war correspondent
Ernie Pyle, born August 3, 1900, embedded
with the United States Army during
World War II.

Tony Bennett:  An American Classic (2006)
features the acclaimed singer and his guests in
a television special.  Bennett was born August 3, 1926.
The show won Emmys for Directing, Art Direction,
Costumes, Sound Mixing, Choreography, and
Outstanding Special.  Bennett won an Emmy
for Outstanding Individual Performance.
