television series about a private
detective, Mannix, played by Mike
Connors, born August 15, 1925.  Gail Fisher
won an Emmy for her role as his
assistant.

Woodstock (1970) is the documentary
of the famous music festival called
Woodstock, held in upstate New York
beginning August 15, 1969.  It won an
Oscar for Best Documentary Feature and
is on the National Film Registry.
