Lawrence of Arabia (1962) is an epic biography
of English T.E. Lawrence who united Arabs against
the Turks during World War I. Lawrence was born August 16,
1888. This thrilling and inspiring movie won Oscars
for Best Picture, Director (David Lean), Cinematography,
Score (also on the American Film Institute's Score list),
Editing, Art/Set Direction, and Sound. The movie features
an AFI Hero, T.E. Lawrence, played by Peter O'Toole. It is
on the National Film Registry.

The Office (March 24, 2005 to
May 16, 2013) is a popular television
sitcom about office workers. It
starred Steve Carrell, born August 16,
1962. It won Emmys for Outstanding Comedy
Series, Writing, Editing, and Directing. Some
memorable episodes include Gay Witch Hunt,
The Job, Stress Relief, and Finale.
The Office
Avatar (2009) is a blockbuster science
fiction movie about man's interaction with
an alien civilization on another planet. It won
Oscars for Cinematography, Art Direction, and
Visual Effects. James Cameron, born
August 16, 1954, directed and was also among
the producers, writers, and editors. The movie
is essentially his creation.
