Irish Setter and the close bond that
develops between them. This movie
continues our celebration of National
Dog Day, which was August 26, 2018.

Sweet Love, Bitter (1967) is loosely based
on the latter years of the life of jazz great
Charlie "Bird" Parker, born August 29,
1920, and also explores the 1960s New York
City jazz scene.
