Today's movies continue an October Halloween theme, mark the anniversary of German reunification, and mark the anniversary of a military loss in Somalia.

a gathering at a house, there are ghost stories.

October 3, is the anniversary of German
reunification in 1990.

Black Hawk Down (2001) is about a
United States military conflict with
Somali warlords in that country in 1993.
The movie won Oscars for Sound and Editing.
The conflict occurred October 3 to
October 4, 1993.
